Corrençon-en-Vercors, a small charming village at the foot of the Grande Moucherolle, is a great starting point for an easy snowshoe walk or a longer hike toward the Vercors Highlands.
The mountain leaders of Pied Vert run outings in their own backyard, between forest and ridge.
Want a snowshoe outing? Contact us by phone at 07 66 64 90 96 or by email at contactpiedvert.com to book.
Your leader will adapt to your starting point and your wishes (why not a picnic at Clariant?) and to snow conditions, so that you, with family or friends, have a good day out.
Some people see Corrençon as a base camp for a winter corporate retreat in the Vercors. They are not wrong.

The Isère Departmental Council provides marked, prepared snowshoe circuits. Available at the Corrençon tourist office, the snowshoe trail map shows the routes and also includes a small introduction to spotting tracks of mountain wildlife. A handy publication.

If you want to head out on snowshoes solo, please check snow conditions and the various risks (ice, avalanche) tied to a winter mountain outing.
Wishing you lovely walks and great hikes.
A number of itineraries pass near the cross-country ski tracks of the Nordic resort. Please keep off these tracks by sticking to the marked snowshoe route.
Need to rent snowshoes at Corrençon? Drop by the cross-country lodge of the Hauts Plateaux (start of the Nordic area), or see our list of snowshoe rental shops at Corrençon.
