A wonderful way to discover the mountains! We loved the three outings organised with Pied Vert: trapper adventure, igloo building, and tracking animals. Great moments shared as a family (1 adult, 3 kids). A huge thank you to Yoann and Marion for their kindness, their teaching, and their love of nature. They adapted the activities so kids and grown-ups could all enjoy themselves. An experience worth doing again and again!

We did the igloo-building activity as a family with friends. A really lovely experience for both kids and adults. If you're in the Vercors, don't hesitate. Thanks to Ugo for his kindness and for sharing his knowledge.

Great group day for a stag do! We were lucky enough to set off on the trail of wolves (and not just that), enjoy a good raclette over an open fire in the snow, then build an igloo! Thanks to the Pied Vert team for the great guiding, the captivating explanations and a top day. Can't wait to plan the next experience in the Vercors!

Brilliant... once again!!! Outing as a group of 8, with Ugo and Marion, very friendly and warm guides! Mission: hunt for the yeti, kitted out with snowshoes and a good sense of humour! Thanks to both of you for this really memorable pre-Christmas outing! Have a great holiday season and see you next year for a new adventure that we're already looking forward to!

Frequently asked questions

Do I need snow to do a winter activity?

Not necessarily. If there isn't enough snow for snowshoes, we adapt the programme (a regular hike, a nature outing, building a wooden shelter in summer). The Vercors always has something to offer.

Are snowshoes provided?

Yes. Snowshoes are lent by your Pied Vert leader, included in the price. Bring sturdy hiking boots and warm clothing.

From what age can children take part?

Most of our activities are accessible from age 5 or 6. Some, like the trapper adventure or the wildlife outing, are designed for families with children.
