Get the shovels out and watch the shelter take shape under your hands. Then slip inside for a mountain dinner, or a full night.
Build an igloo
Your Pied Vert mountain leader provides the shovels, teaches you the technique, and the site gets going. Depending on the quality of the snowpack, you'll opt for the cut-block method or the packed-snow one. Every build is different.
The real challenge isn't technical, it's collective: coordinating, sharing roles, adjusting together. That's what makes building an igloo a cohesion challenge as powerful for a group of friends as for a corporate team building.
And once the igloo is up? Will you dare host a mountain meal inside: Vertaco fondue or raclette by candlelight?

- Location: Autrans, Villard-de-Lans or Corrençon, confirmed a few days in advance based on snow cover
- Snow cover: this activity depends on the snow. If there is none, we propose an alternative (wooden shelter building)

Want to go the whole way? Your Vercors weekend turns into an Inuit adventure: build your shelter and spend the night inside it, tucked into cold-weather sleeping bags.
Over 2 days, the experience includes:
- Building your igloo (or settling into a pre-built igloo)

The price for building and sleeping in an igloo is tailored: it depends on your request, on the gear you already have, and decreases with the number of participants.
We go through together what gear you need. It can be included in the package (subject to stock): headlamp, inflatable mat, cold-weather sleeping bag, backpack, stove/pot, binoculars.
