Are you joining a Vercors snowshoe outing run by the Pied Vert mountain leaders, or a snowshoeing & raclette evening? Then no need to worry about renting snowshoes: we systematically lend the gear required for the outing (poles/snowshoes, and sometimes backpack, avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe).

Same for the winter activities near Grenoble we run. Snowshoes are loaned if they are needed for progression.

Why rent in the Vercors rather than in Grenoble?

To each their own. You may have a shop next to your flat. Still, for a day outing in winter on the Vercors, we suggest renting directly in the village where your outing takes place. That way, you can take your time, enjoy the light of a sunset over Grenoble for example, without worrying about getting back too late.
