Hiking Weekend
2 to 3 days in the Vercors

The Pied Vert mountain leaders invite you to take some altitude and put together a 2 to 3-day hiking weekend in the Vercors Regional Natural Park.

Two formats are possible depending on your wishes and your appetite for comfort: the point-to-point trek or the base-camp weekend.

2-day point-to-point in the Vercors

A point-to-point trek over 2 days (1 night) with a bivouac lets you set off on a mini Vercors trek.

The outing is planned by one of the Pied Vert team's mountain leaders, taking into account:

• your wishes: panoramas, elevation gain, Vercors wildlife watching, a festive atmosphere, sunset over Grenoble, a lake, the deer rut…
• your appetite for sport: a longer hike up to the summit, or a wildlife adventure exploring around our bivouac spot
• your comfort needs: bivouac under the stars, in an igloo, or close to a shelter

Our many years criss-crossing the massif let you discover the trails we love, take in viewpoints away from the crowds and immerse yourself in the world of Alpine wildlife.

The aperitif and meal ingredients are provided by your mountain leader. You'll get to discover and taste organic, local products and preparations made from wild plants. Cooking is shared, full of conversation and learning (over a fire or on a stove).

The 2 to 3-day base-camp weekend

Prefer the comfort of a room in the evening and the hot water of a regular shower over an itinerant adventure? Then the base-camp weekend of 2 to 3 days from a guesthouse or a Vercors hotel is probably the better way to enjoy your Vercors escape.

You book your accommodation with one of our partner hosts at Destination Vercors, then get in touch with us to plan the hikes:

• your wishes: climbing up to the alpine pastures, exploring the cultural heritage, taking in striking geological formations, stepping into prehistoric times, watching chamois…
• your fitness: regular hiker, or just in need of a big breath of mountain air or a gentle hike punctuated by surprising discoveries
• your timing: we adapt to your pace and your schedule

As with every booking, these 2 days of hiking are tailored to your requests, or full of surprises if you'd rather let us guide you.

On the base-camp weekend, no need to think about lunch. Your Pied Vert mountain leader introduces you to the region through taste: organic, local product tastings.

• from 185€/person for a 2-day point-to-point
• from 130€/person for a 2-day base-camp weekend

These 2-day hikes in the Vercors can start from the villages of Autrans, Villard-de-Lans, Lans-en-Vercors, Corrençon or others.
