In the northern Vercors, the viewpoints over Grenoble and its neighbouring massifs, Chartreuse, Belledonne, Écrins, are reached in one to two hours of walking.

The Moucherotte is the regular meeting point for Grenoble locals, and the Bec de l'Orient drops you straight into the Isère valley.

The Molière plateau also offers a wide-open view.

At the long-awaited sunset hour, the light is striking.
