Yann Gouffault

Yann is one of the mountain leaders in the Vercors who make up the Pied Vert mountain office.
Out on the ground
Yann went through the preparatory course at Autrans before sitting the qualification, three months of training on the massif where he now works. In February 2023 the local radio station had him on to talk about the job, Avec Yann du Bureau de Montagne Pied Vert on Radio Oxygène.
The Pyrenees are his home range and he takes people there when they want to get out of the Alps for a few days.
Like the other Pied Vert leaders, he runs the full range of the office's outings: guided hiking, wildlife watching, bivouac nights, snowshoeing in winter, school groups and multi-day trips.
