Booking at least one service offered by the Pied Vert local trade union, on behalf of the mountain leaders who are members of the union, implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
A booking becomes effective when the contract (quote) is signed and a deposit equal to 50% of the contract is received. The balance must be paid no later than the day before the service. Accepted payment methods are cheques, cash and bank transfers.
Only the contract (quote) is binding on the date, the price and the programme.
Lack of snow and weather conditions do not entitle the client to cancel the service.
The client accepts that weather, snow conditions or the level of the participants may lead to a change in the service at any time.
If the Client cancels less than five (5) days (120 hours) before the start of the service, the deposit remains acquired by the Pied Vert local trade union and is not refunded.
If the Client cancels more than five (5) days (120 hours) before the start of the service, the deposit is not refunded but becomes a credit note, valid for one rescheduling of the service, subject to availability of the Pied Vert mountain leaders.
Any cancellation request must be notified in writing, by email, SMS or postal mail.
As Pied Vert services are personalised and scheduled on a fixed date, the Client is informed that the right of withdrawal does not apply, in accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
At any time, a case of force majeure such as weather conditions or their forecasts likely to seriously affect the safety of participants, or sudden physical incapacity of the planned leader, may lead to a cancellation by the leader, member of the Pied Vert local trade union. The client will be fully refunded. The client may not claim any other compensation from the Pied Vert local trade union.
Participants are individually responsible for their own equipment. The leader or leaders cannot be held responsible for damage caused in the event of deterioration or theft.
Equipment loan is free. However, in the event of loss or damage to loaned equipment, Pied Vert will invoice the client for the repair or replacement costs.
The parties will endeavour to resolve any dispute that may arise during the performance of the contract amicably. If no agreement can be reached, disputes will be governed exclusively by French law.
